|
|
Anyone ever have any problems with the larger surf-mate? The one i'm refering to is the the one that holds 12 rods and has a basket for a descent sized cooler and mount in the front of your vehicle via front end receiver hitch.
Do you think it would hold the larger rigs 12/0's 16/0's and loaded cooler without any problems? I'd like to buy one, but want to make sure it will hold up well with the bigger rigs.
Also does anyone know where to get an inexpensive front end receiver hitch. Cheapest I found so far is at U-haul for 139.00 installed. Any other suggestions?
Thanks.......FS. |

Don't buy it from DigitalDagger.com, mine came in damaged, (some of the rod holders were egg-shaped), and the S.O.B. wouldn't stand behind it. I ended up having to pay full price for damaged goods.
www.hitchesonline.com that's where I got the Receiver hitch. _________________ El Sabalo De Plata, Y La Bala De Oro!

| You might check Tractor Supply Co (TSC). They have that type of thing. |

Call Trucker Equipment. They will have it or know who does. _________________ Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.

I was wrong about the Dude from www.digitaldagger.com.
I shouldn't have posted any negative comments without making ONE MORE CALL.
The reason for such a delay in his response was because he was trying to fight for some more money out of the shipping company. Anyway he is going to reimburse me for a portion of the purchase price because it was delivered damaged. On another note, for the people that know me; They know I'll end up tearing it up just fine on my own....... _________________ El Sabalo De Plata, Y La Bala De Oro!

Ginman,
Glad to hear they are compensating some for the damages. |
