Okay,
Here is something finally about fishing! Larry Flak sent in this report:
Duck hunted and fished Mesquite Bay area Monday and Tuesday. Clark Brennan of Brennan's Restaurant in New Orleans was our guest. He had a great time and plans to get back to South Texas soon. He really needed a vacation from all the post-Katrina problems his family and business is suffering from. His own words "Can you find a place that allows No Limit Hunting of Insurance Adjusters". Also - be sure to buy more insurance "even if you think you have enough flood, windstorm and contents insurance - your wrong" !
Our guide Monday for Ducks was Capt. David Nesloney Jr.( http://www.rockportwaterfowl.com/ ) Sage is one heck of a retriever.
Our guide Tuesday for Ducks was Capt. Tommy Ramzinsky (http://www.tommysguideservice.com/). He put on some ducks big time. We limited out by 7:30am. Rockport natives, Tommy and David (and their tournament partners) came in 1st and 10th (respectively) in the 2005 FLW Redfish Series Championship. We did not fish with them but with our sponsor Chris Mayo of Baker Hughes Inteq. Chris got us on some good fishing. It was the first time Clark had ever wade fished. You just do not get out of the boat in S. Louisiana.

Mr. Brennan didn't happen to offer to cook up a few of those ducks and some trout, did he? Over many, many years, Brennan's Restaurant has offered consistently excellent food and service. He'll make it back due to his commitment to quality and well-earned reputation, but I can't imagine what a hassle it is. Very nice report. _________________ Royal and Ancient Rod, Gun, Lager and Liar Society
