BIG SCHOOLS OR REDS, AND TROUT
the trout where so thick, could only catch on red out of 2 schools. The trout beat them to it every time, save one. _________________ FIRELINE WILL " GET ER DONE!!" |

Went today with Flakman all around Goose Island Area, back of St. Joes, Mesquite Bay etc. It was very slow except for some schoolie trout etc. I did see a big Whooping Crane and that was pretty cool. Nice day just slow fishing.

I have always heard that pressure has something to do with eating or not. Can someone explain that to me, and during high pressure systems do you guys just stay home because fishing will be impossible? _________________ FIRELINE WILL " GET ER DONE!!" |

Tyler,... were you and Flakman using live bait or lures?
If you two were using bait, was it live shrimp or piggys like the live bait guides use?
If lures, what type of lures? |

Suppossedly, high pressure makes fish not eat. "High pressure pushes their mouths closed."
It might make some sense, because those perfect beach days seem to be the ones were I catch nothing, and I seem to catch more fish the nastier the weather conditions are. _________________ Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.

Big John,
what are considered High pressure days? Are we talking about a high pressure system over south texas, or barometer pressure?
thanks Big J. _________________ FIRELINE WILL " GET ER DONE!!" |
