I'm guessing 3.5 yrs. He's mature, but not at his peak. He'll be ginormous next season if he doesn't go chasing does onto someone elses place that shoots everything that walks...Keep the feed going! That last freeze killed off lots of vegetation. _________________ Vegetarian (n)...Old indian word for bad hunter |

For our Amistad trip - I'm flinging carbon at the first thing that walks w/in range that doesn't have spots.... That deer would definitely been shot at on a bowhunt out there. _________________ Vegetarian (n)...Old indian word for bad hunter |

| Tyler that is working a strong program of restraint. He is a great looking buck and will be awesome next year for you if he doesn't stay too far from your pasture. |

I say 4.5 years old and wow! for you. That is a beautiful deer, but in my opinion if he's ~4.5 years old and with the dry weather we've had, looking like that, he'll be the man next year and you deserve to get a chance at him. I think I may have rolled him |

I second that, 4.5 on the age.
He will be very nice in a couple of years, If you can wait that long. |

I'm gonna keep it going. looks like 4.5 to me. Good call on letting him walk. Hopefully you'll get a shot at him next year. _________________ "Ya'll must eat a lot of fish" |

| Based on all of my research and experience, I agree he's 4.5 years old. You showed you are a true hunter and sportsman to let him walk. Hopefully, you will get another opportunity next year, but if not, you will have presented another hunter with a grand trophy. Good hunting, my friend. |
