I have a zodiac with the west marine label on it. the floor has some some detached in a spot and it takes on alot of water. I could probably fix this myself but If I can find somebody that will do it for a reasonable price and do it right I woudl like to go that route.. Can any of you guys reccomend a shop or person that specializes in these things?
I also want to trade this motor out for a short shaft.. So if you know anybody wanting a long shaft 4 stroke 5 hp and has a short shaft let me know!! long shaft too big for zodiac..

| i would check that motor and see if the section between the water pump area and upper unit is removable. i know in the past the long shaft had an adapter that went on the drive shaft to lengthen it and if you remove these adapters it would become a short shaft. older motors used to be that way, don't know for sure on the newer ones but it would be worth a look. |

If that section is removable, you will still have to change the driveshaft to a shorter length. Just words of advice..... _________________ Looking for a River Pickle sunrise |
