We fished the beach near s. Packery this evening. The water's still about eighty degrees. The air was much cooler. Tons of mullet in the water. Clarity was awesome considering it was yoohoo yesterday. Missed a couple good hits and were fortunate enough to lose a big stingray right at the beach. Looks good for the weekend

I'm going to try to make it out Sunday to fish the surf. My girlfriend is fishing the Saltwater Sweeties women's tourney in Rockport Saturday, and if I have any energy left in me on Sunday, I'm there. It's redfish time!!! Good size sharks too. Good luck to everyone.
