Anyone by chance seen what the surf is currently like? Thinking of taking a trip this weekend but didnt want to go if the surf looks like chocolate milk? Think the water will be nice by the weekend?

Fairly light winds are predicted for Sat.+Sun., but it seems this "coldwater current issue??" is keeping the water from clearing...
Saturday, I caught a dozen or more finger mullet and pony mullet right of shoreline in the surf on the north side of the North Jetty of the PC...Was using a (7') cast net...But water clarity was not good, and worse in the channel than it was the weekend before...I'll be wating for water to get better, or until I go with friends with 4x4 to go farther south on PINS...

Mon. and Tue. looked great to the south, PINS. No weed and the water looked mostly clear.

1 mile south to 1 mile north of BHP. No weed but muddy to the second bar.

It does seem to be clearing.
