fished the bay around marker 37 all weekend only producing small trout and skipjack. decided to stay an extra day and was rewarded for it... headed to packery (north jetty) about 11 to be greated with a huge school of mullet jumping out of the water like it was an olympic event. waded out in the surf with gulfs and managed 3 keeper specks with several that could have been keepers but didnt feel like walking back to measure. threw enough fish back to entice the fiance to want to try... her first cast?........ nails a huge trout! started walking since just in the second cut and the fish squirms from my hands and into the water... wah wah wah wah.... now she thinks she is offically bad luck haha
none the less had a great time and celebrated my sons 1st bday on the coast and he LOVED the water... cant wait till he can get a rod and start fishing _________________ "The fish and I were both stunned and disbelieving to find ourselves connected by a line." |

no there was very little but when the bite turned off i notice the water turned pretty cold. kinda wierd how it just changed like that. there were dolphins just out of casting distance and they left too _________________ "The fish and I were both stunned and disbelieving to find ourselves connected by a line." |
