wow-
Oz and crew, thank you for the fabulous reports on your adventures. I have relived them over the last year from your swim with the whale sharks, and to read about your quest and conquer of the Tiger shark was epic.
Congratulations!
The smile on your face is as large and excited as kids that post their first catch!

I would love to catch a Shark like that, but my question is how do you guys get the hook out?
Sorry for the dumb question I'm new to the saltwater thing. |

Occasionally on a fish that big we can get it out, but more than likely we cut the hook with bolt cutters. _________________ -Oz |

Not trying to cause any problems, but I thought it was against regulations to launch a motor driven craft on PINS???? _________________ Big Ed

Hard hull motorized vessels are prohibited from launching into the Gulf of Mexico from all beaches within Padre Island National Seashore.
Zodiacs, Avons, and other soft hulled motorized vessels less than 12’ in length are permitted to launch on North Beach or on South Beach below the 5 Mile marker. All other gulf beaches are closed to launching motorized soft hulled motorized vessels.
