This weekend went down to corpus to spend weekend with parents they live off of the island and they have a decor light thats underwater that comes on at night well it attracts alot of fish, trout, reds, hards you name it. First night I was just BSing around and threw a rubber worm in front of a 20in or so trout. He hit it with great speed but got off by bending my hook. I was stoked that it was that easy to catch them. SO the following night when the trout returned I dropped a green glitter bass assasin shad thingamagigger in front of him and he hit it again but slip off because he bit the A$$ end of it and didnt get hooked. So that next day I kinda fabricated me own lure. I took that same shad but the glow kind and added a shiner hook in the rear of the rubber shad. That night they returned and as soon as I dropped it in they hit it and they were stuck. IT was around 19incher but fun and easy.Cheating id call it.
