Been a lurker here for a couple of weeks. Great site and great info. I'm an experienced amateur saltwater fisherman at best, but I'm learning. I get to fish the Port A area twice a year, going on 10 years now. I'll be down with my wife and daughter, trying to get her (daughter) hooked on the saltwater the week after independence day. Hope to add some pic's to the site and share some comeraderie.

| I notice your in Granbury... Do you flyfish? Would you know Mr Barry Evans of Granbury? He wraps custom rods and ties flies. He is a member of the FtWorth FlyFishers. He is an old salt friend of mine. |

Naaw, I don't flyfish but my mother in law does up in Colorado. I'm not sure if I know Mr. Evans. I'll check the people I work with and see if I might know him. I work for an elected official who knows almost everyone. I mostly catfish and fish for crappie while dreaming of salt. While on vacation, we fish the flats, jetties, Robert's Pt. Park, Charlies Pasture, surf and sometimes Caldwell Pier. |
