At BHP the waves have been pretty big the last 2 days, but water was sandy with patches of clear water. The reds bite has been good some days on Mannolure type lures, live watermelon shad, and cut mullet, but is sporadic. I did add a 24" speck to my red limit yesterday when she immediately hit a small snagged bumper shad dropped to the bottom on my Mannolure and was a fatty. Today just 2 small pomps and a throw-back red.

I went to the Seashore yesterday about 3 miles down I took my sister and my nephew. Water was defiantly nice with green water in close. Tons of crabs in the first gut but no bites. I tried a variety of fish bites and gulps and mullet. Nice day though..

i was there on wed and i lost 5 reds that were pushing 25 inches and three sheeps heads on some berkly gulp shrimp and crabs the reason i lost them was i was using a zebco 33 one of the old classics that my grand pa started out with and it only had 12# test line on it
