Has anyone been fishing the emrolds hole area lateley?
I was there about 1.5 years ago and was able to detect the sand holes.
It seems lately when I cruze the area I can not see the holes.
Is this because of the water clarity ?
Any tricks in finding (seeing) holes? |

dirty. chocolate. yoohoo. all terms to describe the water clarity in the lagoon this morning on the way to work. wind blowing 30+ MPH. this is the earliest I have seen whitecaps and the laguna blown-out probably this season.
right now, Emmords = no seeing the sandpockets. call it brown tide, call it high winds, whatever. _________________

Fished there a little bit on Saturday when I was limping back to Billings with my spun prop. It was mid morning with no bite at all. The water was fair and you could pick out some of the bigger sand pockets but nothing taking the croaker...
