Headed out solo once again and managed to find some trout. I started out the moring by trying close to the ramp but the water was terrible so I ventured further out. Upon arrival at my "honey hole" there were two boats ON TOP OF THE REEF once again with about 8 waders. So I looked at my plotter and noticed some structure that I had never fished and was about a mile from my original plan. I idled in and jumped out. By this point the wind was starting to pick up but the water clarity was still holding. I immediately hooked up and seemed like it was non stop for about 2 1/2 hours. I ended up catching 11 trout up to 25 inches and about 25-30 schoolies. I also noticed that there were a bunch of sheephead rising up to the surface all around me. Some of them were pretty good size. I just may have to head out in the morining. _________________ Life is like a 13 inch trout...2 short...Go Fishin'! |

| Thanks for the report. We also did good at Baffin on Saturday. My guest did not bring waders, so we drift fished all day and ended up with 10 nice keeper trout, with the biggest at 23". All fish caught on plastics. I seen some nice fish come in at the ramp cleaning station. We needed to be wading for the big girls. |
