I haven't been fishing in a while and I'm looking forward to getting out on the water tomorrow. Does anyone have any tips on where the best fishing will be tomorrow? What are the hitting on? Are they shallow or deep? I'll be leaving from the North Padre Island canals.
Thanks _________________ Longhorn |

Finding good water may be tough tomorrow but if the wind dies like its supposed to you may get lucky. Unfortunately for you the Baffin Bash is this weekend. This means lots of good spots will be crowded and lots of other good spots will be getting run over all day. Fortunately there are lots of open flats that should be holding fish. Look for good water and bait for starters. Fish subtle structure changes such as drops and potholes thoroughly. Topwaters have been picking up lately and jigs are always a good way to go. Corky's are still producing good fish if you're gonna be wading. Good luck and let us know how you do. _________________ "Ya'll must eat a lot of fish" |

I'll be looking for Reds or Trout. I usually throw gulps or top waters. If another bait is working good, let me know. Thanks for your tips. _________________ Longhorn |
