Although i dont know RB, i thought something happened to him when i read the topic!
My prayers go out to him and his family. There isnt anything worse than losing a parent or loved one. |

| Thank you all for your kind words. He would have been 88 in August and I was fortunate enough to have known him for 48 of those years. I read recently that approximately 1,000 World War II veterans are dying each day in our country but he was the only one today that was my dad. |

One of the toughest realities in life is death. It is just plain hard to deal with.
While funerals are not a favorite subject, it is an honor to be present at one with military honors.
Treasure the good memories and rely on your friends for strength to help during these difficult times.
Even get away for a morning or afternoon, and go be on the water. It is soothing, relaxing, and in its own way comforting.
