This is my opinion on the whole global matter, the world has been changing since the day it formed or was formed depending on your beliefs. I dont think it's going to stop fro the human race. Oneday we might be in the history books or whatever they, what, or who uses in the far future for historical reference. The earth was once covered in water , i hate to say it but maybe its time for earth to flush the toilet again. My opinion only. ims

If I had the $$$$$$ I would be tempted to have a beach house because I love the beach and the ocean so much, BUT having said that and with all due respect to those of you who have beach homes, it is a fools erand. There is no such thing as a static beach, or river for that matter. Humans [the Corps of Engineers come to mind] are forever trying to alter the natural world to their bidding. If you live on a beach, or in a city that's below sea level and sits right next to the nations largest river AND in a hurricane zone, it should be with the understanding that your house won't be there forever. Enjoy your stay but don't blame the government when things go wrong.

what IMS sed...
the earth is not static.
which is a good thing, because it would now be a dead rock.
my take on the warming things,is, we are probably contributing, but it may also be an inevitable cycle that we have no control over.
that said, we all could use a little belt tightening.
my kinfolks just up the road had only rainwater(no decent well there)
they used tankwater to wash clothes.
most lived into their '70's and '80's.
my next vehichle will definatly be smaller.
I keep the t-stat at 78 in the summer and fight with my cold-natured wife to keep the place cooler in the winter.
I read that the compact flouresent bulbs can save alot of energy, so we are slowly switching to them. small things can make a big diff.
if you want a house on the beach or riparen river bottoms, fine, but I don't care to subsidize you. if you want a house on a cliff in Cali, same sentiments.
