Went out today with a friend of mine.
Fished from about 3:30 until sundown. Was using live shrimp under a cork and Gulp baits. Ended up with 3 trout, which the biggest being landed on pink Gulp mullet, and a hardhead which was also caught on the pink mullet.
Buddy landed a nice hardhead but didn't end up with any keepers. Fish started to bite with about 45 min left of light and also at the time we were running out of live shrimp. Once the bait hit the water the cork was going under. Also caught a some dink trout and a rat red. Lots of fun just wish we had more bait. Will try to get pictures of the fish up soon. |
