Well, for the second time in two years, some scumbags ripped off my fishing gear. Last time it was out of my truck parked in front of my apartment at Admiral Apts. They got my Shimano tackle bag with well over $100.00 worth of lures, my old cast net, bait bucket, and worst of all, my 4 year old daughters car seat...total scumbags. This time they got into the garage of the house we're staying at and really cleaned me out. Pretty much everything. All I have left is the one trout rod that I had inside the house. They got my 10' Tsunami w/ Abu 6500CT, 2 12' Ugly sticks with Diawa spinning reels, my 2 year old cast net (that Osolonghorn gave me after the last theft), baitbucket w/ 5 gallon bucket, Shimano wade boots(size12), and old ratty tackle box with my piddely collection of lures, etc,,,. There is also some lawn equiptment missing too. All probably safe in the back of a pawn shop by now. The good thing is that I was going to by my daughter a bicycle yesterday for her 6th birthday on Sunday but decided to wait until tomorrow so she wouldn't see it. It won't go in the garage for sure. This really sucks now that the good fishing is upon us and we planned to have a trip down the beach for my birthday(Saturday 42 years old!!) and Allison's birthday Sunday. These losers won't ruin her B-day and I really don't wish any harm to them but one day I hope they realize the hurt that they cause people. Now I have to rebuild my fishing arsenal again, so if anybody has any stuff, rods, reels, cast net, whatever they don't need or want, please let me know. I don't have much money but would try to give you a fair price for anything you can spare.
Thanks,
Ernie
P.S. Nothing is safe around here any more so LOCK IT UP GOOD!!!! |

So sorry to hear that. All you can do is hope that those scumabgs get what's coming to them. I believe they will. I assure you life can't be treating them that well or they wouldn't be doing stuff like this. _________________ Save the seagrass......Shoot some ducks |

Bummer, Tarzan!
I'll give you a fine-mesh, 8' diameter, braided nylon Taitex castnet. Bought at an auction years and never taken out of its bag except to check the label just now. Not much good except for catching finger mullet and mudminnows in shallow water because it won't sink fast, but you're welcome to it. Send a pm if you want it. _________________ The Trash Heap Has Spoken!

That's a real shame, sorry this happened to you. It's unforunate that we have to live around scum like this. Maybe if we lived in a society where we didn't promote welfare and laziness and everybodie's a#@# had to get a job, things would be better??? This kind of crap really goes all over me. Once again, sorry you had to endure this BS! _________________ Later,

| Now that your losses have doubled from last time might be a good idea to invest in an inexpensive camera for the front of your house or at least a fake one. Harbor freight had cameras that would hook too any monitor for $39.99 not too long ago. |

Tarzan,
I have a 12' E-glass Rod and new Shakespear Spinning reel 070, you can have. It is gathering dust at my house. I got it as a door prize 6 years ago during a redfish tourney. I live in Von Ormy Texas, but if someone is coming down maybe they can take it to you?
Also, I have 4 cameras and a monitor that I'm selling. I don't have all the cables to hook up the cameras. I also have the vhs loop recorder for it that is missing the power cable (not sure if it works, but any old vcr will do.
$100 takes it all. The monitor will give 4 camera views. 3 of the cameras have pedestal mounts. It all came out of the building we moved into, but the construction crew didn't save all the cables and stuff.
I think the cables for the cameras can be bought at Altex Electronics _________________ Paul S Perez

Bummer Earnie, its going to be awhile before i head that way but im certain we have extra tackle boxes and poles lying around, even a few bait buckets at the house. I have a couple of the silver old penn spinning reels also that are in decent condition ill have to check the model #'s i cant say what they are from the top of my head but ill be more than happy to donate whatever i have to you. Nothing fancy but will catch fish until you can replace it with new and better things. We can just call it a hand me down birthday present. If anyone from the SA area is headed that way anytime soon let me know and perhaps we can meet up to deliver the goods and whoever can arrange to meet with you.
BTW most homeowners insurance will cover stuff like that. Not sure if thats an option for you but if it is look into that. You may want to be sure and let them they took your color GPS, Vahn stahl reels, New riding lawn mower etc. |

Thta sucks. I hate thiefs. They are nothing but parasites living off the sweat and blood of hard working people.
I hope they catch the bastages. As for tackle, I have some lures and soft plastics, and a small no name reel you are welcome too. Send me a PM if you are interested. _________________ GOBZA!!!
