It would be great if the pectoral fins were visible in the pic b/c it would def. give the ID of the fish away. Definately looks like a jack crevalle, but other jacks (horse eye for example) look similar at that size. I'm only noticing one dorsal fin. Jack crevalle have two but the first dorsal may simply be laying down in front of the first one. Best guess: Jackfish _________________ "Ya'll must eat a lot of fish" |

Sharks eat larger jacks, but I've never tried using a small one for bait. _________________ "Ya'll must eat a lot of fish" |

| Last summer when the reds were biting good on BHP, but only wanted small to med sized bait. I caught several slot reds on jacks about the size of a silver dollar that I caught with my sabiki rig and some chunks of cut bait from a bigger sized jack. |
