My friend and i went to packery under the bridge,Where we docked off on
kayacks to fish the flats the tides were supossed to be falling from mourning to the after noon so that meant the flats would be emptying out
through the day.paddled to a spot about four feet of water with grass beds and sandy bottoms with bait fish activity around me, perfect conditions with semi clear water and nothing,No takers for about an hour of switching spots.Saw pelicans eating bait fish by the spoil islands so i docked my yack on small island that had a out let from the flats to the channel using finger mullet as bait cast to the edge of the channel right
in the middle from where the water from the flats were emtying out to the
channell.The end results Numerous rat reds one flounder ,one slot red, one bull red and some skip jacks. while using cast net i caught a baby barracuda, my first just some thing i would never thought id catch in a cast net.Threw it back ,Bull red was also released also.sorry no pics. Cool

No GATOR I LEFT MY CAMERA BACK IN THE CAR and we were kayacking
to far from it to go back for it. MaN HOW DO YOU THINK I FELT NOT BEING ABLE TO TAKE A PICTURE WITH THAT BULL RED I CAUGHT ON 12LB TEST,IT WAS AT LEAST 40INCHES.Oh well the run is just going to start. there be more chances. Laughing
