| Waited until after the early rain had quit and headed to SPJ with shrimp and croakers about 8:30 a.m. Got there and set up just in time for the sky to get ugly black and open up again. Well, the fish don't care if it is raining and my brother in laws from out of town were chomping at the bits to do some fishing so we hung in there. Worked the inside mostly with a stiff out-going current. Caught two undersized sheephead and a croaker slightly larger than our bait (on shrimp). Otherwise, just got wet over and over again. Finally gave up about 1: wet and hungry. Boy, I'm tired of this rain. |
