Went SBHP today & the tide was WAY out. Great thing was no grass. 1st time all yr you could bring in the long rods without 20lbs of grass on them.
Wieghts held all day long & no drifting in. Used cut whiting
Sad thing was no big fish were biting, just smaller keeper trout on the light tackle past the 2nd gut on live baby Pomps. Could only catch baby pomps in cast net. no finger mullet.
hated useing them for bait but they worked on the trout.
