Anyone been out cruising around the mother lagoon? Thinking about taking Friday off, and doing a little rod and reeling. With the high tides comes new water and hopefully some new trout and reds. looking at the weather, Friday might be the best day weather wise, Saturday and Sunday will be ok to but ya might get a rain shower or two. 10 more years til retirement..... or full time fishing. ims

Last weekend there was a nice amount of grass. I hammered the trout all over the upper parts of the laguna.

Hey Stan, when you retire it seems something always comes up to put a hurt on a good fishin trip. The big " A " (arther-i-tuse), bad joints, or just flat don't feel good. I think the government should retire everyone until about 40, then work you til you die. At least that way we could enjoy a little more. Go out and " HOOK "EM", Osolonghorn

there are mats of floating grass the size of spoil islands in some places right now. we've been able to find some places where the grass is not too bad and is still holding fish, but those are few and far between down south here. further north the water and grass are still looking pretty good.

IMS some areas of the backyard still have some floating grass but overall it isn't as bad as last week.

Hopefully these high tides will flush the grass away....just a hope....
Hope I win the lottery also. Laughing
