I am new to listing items on ebay, and am wondering how much to start the bid at. I am leaning towards starting it at a pretty low price. Any help is appreciated.
thanks |

| I have been ebaying for nearly 9 years. Don't start any item for less than you are willing to take for it. If it only sells for the starting price you could be very disappointed. You can always relist if it doesnt sell. |

EBAY!!! SCAMS...SCAMS and more scams! Thats why they have too keep changing thier format. It will cost you a lot and the amount of time just culling out ebay scammers then the email scammers then PayPal scammers. Just not worth it. Then you pray you don't have to deal with the crap shipping companies will deal you! You pay for insurance but that means nothing to them. They are extreamly dishonorable.
If the product you sell is unique then the chinese will copy it and sell it on ebay direct. My friends electric motor company closed last year becaues of patent infringments and ebay lets them sell them anyway. Our goverment is out of control so they are usless. They get contrabutions from the chinese so they are for them.......... not us! Just ask AL Gore.
Save your money save your bank accounts and save you sanity! Don't do ebay.

now for a non jackass response. Start the bid low, I always start at .99. IF its something that is worth money it will go up in price 99.9% of the time. IF its something you really need a certain amount for , put a reserve on it, and still start at .99. |

| If i see a reserve i will usually not mess with it. if you want 50.00 start at 50.00. but be realistic on your price . it always worth more to you be it's yours. i have bought two trucks,a boat, and all kinds of other stuff and not once had any trouble. It a great place to buy and sell stuff. but there are scammer out there. |

| I agree with critter gitter, dont start any lower than you are willing to take.If it doesnt sell relist. Ebay isnt all scams, but you do have to be careful and check out who you are dealing with. I have been buying and selling for years. I have taken personal checks from all over the country and never had a bad one. I ship worldwide and never have a problem. It's a great secondary income. |

Name calling me a "Jack supple bum" becaues I shared a bad experiance and opinion of mine and others, Is pretty low. Most forums do not allow personel attacks just becaues your opinion differs.
