Went out noonish and started out at my honey hole. Worked it for about 30 minutes and never even got a perch bump. Went and fish the top side of the humble for a while around some structure and picked up one keeper trout and a couple undersized. Went to another area at lake and fish there for about 15 minutes and again not even a bump. I saw some structure on the west side of the humble and started making a drift and picked up two keeper trout and a couple small ones. Went back up and made that drift again and one more trout. Turns out that every time I caught one it was about 20 to 30 ft from the channel. Made a third drift through picked up another couple keepers and one undersize. Starting heading home and fished over by Little wigglers channel and picked up this redfish that went 23 in and had seven spots. I was going to go home and then I decided what the hell try the honey hole again. Glad I did. Got a 27 and a half inch trout and then three casts later 27-in red.
