Went back to the same location as earlier, south of the power plant and then worked the shoreline down King Ranch way.

Didn't fish from the boat this time, but waded in water between knee and hip deep. Managed two trout limits and a bunch of schoolies on a suspending gold Mirrolure (me) and a green Z-man (wife) Started out with a bone Spook but there was just no topwater bite at all.

No reds or drum this time. Action died around 1030am and we were back at Marker 37 to have lunch at Docs. Water away from the beach was clearer, but all fish were in the lightly stained area near shore.
Ran across another wader using a cheap inflatable paddleboard for a work surface/seat/gear hauler. I might try that myself, it would save wading back to the boat. All in all we hopped along two miles of shoreline and the bite was consistent the whole way.
