Fish that Hopewell lake in Northern New Mexico yesterday, elevation 9800 ft. Had a great day throwing a Joe's fly lure. Caught 40 rainbow trout ranging in size room 8 in to 21 in. Temperature was 55 and bright sunny skies.

Hi Coach Zia, Glad to seeing you enjoying yourself in such a beautiful setting, and hope this means your health concern you mentioned some time ago is at least arrested.

Forty rainbows - sounds like a good day on the water! Glad you're feeling well enough to get out there and enjoy the day.

Good to hear you're getting well. Beautiful pictures and I envy having to wear a coat!
In the first picture, is that a bison (or a bear?) across the way?

Just a cow grazing. Along our drive, to and from the lake, we did see an eight-point mule deer, elk, pronghorns, big horn sheep, wild turkeys and a couple red tail hawks

Well, that's certainly disappointing. But, gotta get chocolate milk from somewhere! Laughing
