A good friend of mine in his wife were spending several days over at boys of the KOA because their kids came down from up around Dallas and they wanted to do some fishing. I check with him this morning to see if he had gotten anything and he said about a dozen undersized trout. I told him where I picked up all my stuff this morning and they went over there and got a 22-in red and a 18-in trout. Around dinner time I get a call from him and I thought he's going to give me a big report turns out that he was broken down over close to the RV park. So being a good guy that I am, lol, I went over to help him out. As they were waiting for me they were fishing and his grandson wound up catching a 24 and a half inch trout. I guess breaking down has his benefits. Tote them into the RV park and tomorrow we'll see what we can do as far as Guinea is boat working.

Way to go. I've had to push boats in with a stiff rope a few times myself. Good karma will come your way.

Years ago in the dim mists of time, my dad and I were fishing north of the power lines when the motor quit. No cell phones and no tow services back then.

I dragged/swam that boat from there all the way to Clem's boat ramp. Took about four hours in the dark.

Since then I've had a small outboard kicker and a VHF radio on every boat I've ever owned. Razz

Dang John that was tough. I was teasing my friend and I said hey you're only in 2 ft of water get out and drag it home. Lol.

I keep an old vaulting pole that I got when I was coaching and keeping in my boat. Had to use it a number of times
