Water in the Laguna is still pretty ugly. At least close to where I live. Made a few drifts in the backyard with not much luck. On our way back in I went by my two minute honey hole and said hi to my dog Kokopelli. He rewarded me with a double hookup. I was using my top water with a dropper and got a fish on both. I guess my dog didn't know what kind of fish I'd like today so he gave me one of both. The trout was a little over 16 in and so was the red. So together I caught a 32-in fish. Lol. Then on the way in I saw this grebe with a big old mullet its jaw. It kept going under the water and coming back up and shaking its head and the go under the water come back up and shake its head I don't know if it was taking the fish under or if the fish was taking it under. It was fun to watch. I know it's hard to see the picture but it is the best I have.
