Went out a week or so back,, my three year old Lowrance is no longer accepting input from the transducer. Tried a spare transducer and new power cable with no luck so it appears to be in the head unit. Still works as a chartplotter and engine control though.

Does anyone around Corpus do fishfinder repair? I highly recommend that you DON'T call Lowrance customer support, They don't do repairs without an extended warranty and it's a good way to raise your blood pressure.

I don't know anyone John, sorry, but curious what model your talking about as I have a hook 10 I think?

I do have to occasionally at the ramp, unplug and replug the data cable to get the transducer to work. Sometimes more than once...

There's a place in Rockport. I'll see if I can come up with the name.

Elite 7 TI2 with the three in one transducer. I especially like it because I can get all my engine readouts on the touch screen.

If I cannot get it fixed I may just keep it for that and the chartplotter and buy a cheaper plain fishfinder to mount alongside it.
