Had the grandkids and great-grandkids over today for a little bit of pre Valentine presents and haven't seen them in a few months being that we were in New Mexico. Had a great time with them. After they left hit the water for about an hour and a half. The watering close up until about maybe halfway to the ICW is pretty stained. Fished some clean water and the fishing was slow but I did wind up with four keepers and one oversized there. Don't have a picture of the oversized one because as I was trying to net it, it was jumping and flipping all over the place and finally it got off. On the way back I stopped at the two minute honey hole and being at the water was stained I put a gulp on and the first cast got me a 17-in trout. Made half a dozen of the cast there and nothing so I went back home. Fish in the picture went 19.
