I drove to the 35 mark Thursday
I pulled onto the sand at 7:30
There for had visibility at about 150 yards
The sand was very soft from 17 to 26 4x4 is a must.
Heavy weed on the beach until 32.
Current is running from south the north.
Water clarity only a 5
The fog never did clear
Fishing was slow with a few whiting and hard heads

We volunteer every year for the Big Shell clean up. Past several years we have gone to the 40s. But, this year I think will not go deep into PINS due to all the traffic on top of already soft sand. Still a great project but that drive to get there just exhausts this senior citizen. Count us in as weinies.

Thanks for the report sinker. Haven't fished the surf in a while. Looks like it's going to be still a while longer. Will see you guys on the beach on the 22nd
