Paul's Seafood has some really nice flounder the other day. Got some for the Wife-Unit and made pan-seared lemon cream flounder, with honey/cinnamon glazed butternut squash, and 'fresh from the backyard' green beans! Not Shabby.
(And not to hijack your topic, that's a quality fish. The regs haven't worked out as well as hoped (total ban for 6 weeks), but with the biology of this species is really driven by the weather. We can regulate all we want, and it's gonna do what it's gonna do. Same can be said for greater amberjack. 30 years now of really heavy-handed regulations, and yet this species refuses to get out of the 'Overfished' Zone). |

| I've been trying to catch crabs in my canal so I can make some crab stuffing for it but the crabs aren't cooperating. Used to be no problem catching crabs. I don't know what the problem is right now. |

| Well, at least they are spawning in our channel, because I pulled a couple of small crabs up on a dead palm leaf this morning. They are fast little buggers! |
