Its been fun and rewarding fishing 9-mile hole, Land cut, Meadows and Baffin for a long time, and having a couple of floaters at Twin Palms, but i have for 2 years gotten tired of the tournaments, more boat traffic with dudes and guides that cut off drifts, or come park to close when they see a fight going on, to evacuate to ROCKPORT AREA. The bait stands where i have always been loyal to Clems, are like a trip to the zoo. Just to many boats South of the JFK for me, so going to relocate, THEY WON..
Fished a few times and a lot less competition or less boat traffic . Lots of new waters to explore North, and close enough to hit Shamrock Cove.
If any mullets fish the Rockport / Copano Bay grounds please chime in for conversations.
Tight lines and stay safe on the water friends...... |

I live full time in the Rockport area, and I thought there were already too many boats here...I guess it's all just a matter of perspective. I'm happy for you to explore new waters up here, just don't be cutting off my drifts... |
