With it being so hot I waited till after dinner to hit the water. I didn't even stop at the two minute honey hole today because yesterday was so slow. Fishing was fairly slow but I did manage two barely keeper trout a barely keeper red and he barely keeper drum that I released. I then hooked on to this nice 27-in drum all on chartreuse sand eels. The only one I kept with this drum so that I can give it to my friend that is going to be coming and bringing me green chili. While I was sitting in my hot tub after I got back I realized, hey wait a minute, you got a slam tonight. Didn't even think about it until I got home.

| Zia you’re living the dream. 2 or 3 minute honey hole, hot tub and good friends bringing food. It doesn’t get any better than that! Thanks again for sharing. |

Why the hot tub???
Just go soak in the canal, it's probably just as warm!!  I know my above ground pool is 'not exactly refreshing' these days.
