After refereeing 20 volleyball matches this week I needed some R&R so I went out after dinner and stopped at the 2 minute honey hole. Did not get even a bump there. Moved to another spot and wound up with a limit of trout and a red that was just barely over legal size. And another surprise is I didn't catch anything on tequila. I caught all on chartreuse instead. Caught another handful of 14 to 15 in trout and started heading back in. Made one last drift close to home and got another limit of trout that were released. When I got home I cleaned the trout for my wife to give some fillets to friends that she's meeting up with tomorrow and I released the red in the canal and hopefully one day the great grandkids can catch it while fishing off the dock.
