Wow! The tide gage just West of the ferry landing says 4.22 FEET! My rain gage in South Rockport got almost 5 inches of rain, total. Wish more had gotten to the Nueces watershed. I see a second depression forming over Central America. There's still hope. TexasJim

Yep, lots of water over here in Bayside America. Tex Dot is estimating that FM 136 will not open until tomorrow @5:30pm. After the tide recedes some they will have tons of debris to clear the highway. FM 136 to Woodsboro and Fm 2678 to Refugio opened up today. That had us landlocked for awhile. I had 10.6” at the house. Our Fire Department got called out last night for a water rescue on Egry Island road when someone had the great idea to drive thru about what ended up 3’ of water. Oh well, no water in my house this time. We were blessed again. Just saying……….cC😎

Is your rain gauge under a tree? All of my friends in Rockport got close to 10" Shocked

Just an FYI, FM 136 is once again back open south of Bayside. Hurray! 😎

Edit: The boat ramp is said to closed for a few more days for debris clean-up

Also flash flooding in the burn scars in New Mexico as well as evacuations from fires and flooding. Yes quite an exciting time
