Saw the news report today, the story was pretty short on details. TPWD link is here. https://tpwd.texas.gov/fishboat/boat/paddlingtrails/coastal/ronsmith_osobay/

The location is on the University campus and you have to pay for parking. Which is probably a plus, not having to worry about my windows getting busted. Not sure if it's daylight only though.

How do you think it would be for fishing? I waded it as a kid along Ennis Joslin and a hundred yards from shore the water was only calf deep. I preferred to fish from the old Oso bridge and along the bayfront leading to CCNAS.
