Went out again late morning like I did yesterday and went to the same spot that I caught all those fish. I made two long drifts there and did not get as much as a bump. Looked around and saw some spots that look promising about a hundred yards away. Motored on over there real slow and set up a drift and started catching some fish. Not hot and heavy but fairly consistent. That was until a fish guide and his customers came with their trolling motor right up close to me and in my line of drift. I felt like doing circles around them but I didn't. I moved to various places here and there and really had to work hard and focus on the soft bite. I did wind up catching 13 keeper trout and these two went 21 and 22 in.

My son has learned to be quite a fisherman since he moved here from New mexico. I enjoy fishing with him and the grandsons. Love seeing them catch fish more than I enjoy catching them.
