This morning was almost a carbon copy of yesterday’s temps and conditions, but the result was very different. The bite was slower where I was fishing, but I managed eight trout, two solid drum and a 12” flounder. I put four bags of fillets into the freezer for later, so no complaints here!

Excellent. I love the clear water that winter brings.
Today, neighbors in the Bluff were complaining about the cold. It was like 60. LOL |

SeanHHH: I played music in open-aired beach bars in the Virgin Islands. In the "winter", if it got down to 70F, my audience would be sitting in the bar in sweaters! One year ago, it was in the twenties here. Wednesday, I was fishing in sorts and a t-shirt! Gotta love Texas! TexasJim _________________ TexasJim

When I first moved to Texas and was teaching PE after moving from New Mexico, we had a front come through and temperatures dropped to upper 60's. All the kids were saying coach do we really have to dress out today. I just told them be quiet and get your shorts on and let's go. LOL |
