The last post here was 5 days ago. Does that mean we are boycotting this site because someone posted some "woke" nonsense? But maybe y''all are just out looking for my Christmas gift. Rolling Eyes

I know the fish are out there.
It's almost time for Colin to weigh in with an epic beach trip.

And speaking of missing posters ... I wonder about Frederick Dunphey and his north jetty excursions. And Doug (Deputy Dawg) has been AWOL for a while now.

I hope they are well and no tragic events are involved.

it's mostly Tyler-Ann being MIA....he is posting over on the facebooks, although not all of us use that media...

there's been fish caught....I went monday after work south of the site formerly known as bob hall and caught a handful of bull whiting, a bull red, and was rewarded with one pomp casting from the beach....I was then punished with a double hard head which caused me to quit...

Not many people are posting. If it wasn't for me and professor salt there wouldn't be much to read. Couple days ago I went out and did a cast and blast. On the way to the blind got a limited trout including a 23 and a half incher and on the way home I got two more trout in a 24 in red.

I don't do Facebook either and I refuse to.

I've been in Facebook Jail 5 different times, ranging from 3 day, 7 day, to numerous 30 day stints.

Doing my level-best to get booted from that nonsense all-together, but Sucker_INSERT DIRTY WORD HERE_boy can kiss my 4th Point of Contact.

But the general lack of posts here lately is concerning.... CS

Not much of a report, but I tried a new area this morning and found a few flounder. I caught four trout (three were small) and a sheepshead and kept two of them for dinner.

I think it slowed down mainly because we are all up in the hill country trying to put Bambi in the freezer. Laughing

We're coming down the 21st thru the 27th, managed to get an RV spot at Mustang Island state park. Haven't decided on bringing the kayak yet, may just wade the back side of the fish pass for a week.
