Looking for recommendations on an independent insurance agent for our home in Corpus Christi/Rockport area. Our insurance agency is retiring and closing their office. Danged Hochheim Prairie Insurance is just dropping their clients, no option to transfer to another agency, Customer loyalty is a thing of the past, we had been with them for 35 years. Oh well, just saying…….cC

Just an update. I spoke with the VP of my current insurance agency out of Victoria today. They are not retiring or closing. He stated that Hochhiem Prairie wanted to cut their liabilities along the coast and just quit letting them represent Hochhiem Prairie as of December 30. He stated that was the easiest way out for them. I just wonder how many of their longtime clients just got kicked out to the side of the road. Oh well. Just saying…..cC

We use "The Policy Source out of Cedar Park.
It is run by a guy I met on dos frio.
They have extensive experience in coastal insurance requirements and will shop you to multiple carriers.

Have always been good for us getting us better rates than our neighbors always.

Ask for Kent or Tammy.

They also handle all my marine insurance requirements reasonably.

Sorry for being so late to your party, but we have used Frost Insurance for many years. They are located in San Antonio, Austin, Victoria, and Houston in Texas, from what I see on the web. Frost Insurance is afiliated with Frost Bank and they appear to be a lot larger than I had known previous to my Googling them! They insure our real estate, cars, and boat and have never disappointed!
Their Austin phone number where my agent offices is (512)473-4520.
