Went out from about 9:30 this morning until noon. Water and my two minute honey hole was chocolate. But I fished there anyway using a gulp under a cork. Caught a number of fish. I fished some transition water and then clear water. The bite wasn't real strong in any spot but every place was holding some fish. I was just out to get some r&r cuz I've been working real hard these days refereeing volleyball playoffs. This week I traveled to Victoria, Kennedy and Seguin. And Friday I go to San Antonio. Needed to just chill by myself today. Overall I caught and released at least a dozen trout and one red fish. And I also caught a nice mullet. Lol. Two biggest trout we're over 20 and a bunch of 18s.

The mullet and it's roe would have made up for the flounder you had to release the other day!!!! Laughing Laughing

Zia, still the #1 Volleyball Ref in all of S. TX. (and a wicked Fisherman too!!!)

Hey CS, the state contacted me and they wanted me to call the state 5A and 6A finals but I had to decline it because of current health issues. Damn I would have liked to have done that.

Whatever you got, hope you kick it quickly.

5A and 6A Finals! That would have been another feather in your cap.
