I was going to head out about 9:00 but there was absolutely no wind. Waited and the wind not only picked up but as I got out to end of the marina rain clouds looked ominous. Came back in for about 15 minutes before heading out again. Stayed close to home and started throwing tequila. Picked up a couple little trout here and there and then a few keepers. I actually had one fish jump out of the water and grab my lure when I was taking it out ready to recast. That was funny. I switched to a purple paddle tail and just cranked it through the water and the fish were going crazy on it. I wound up catching and releasing a double limit of 18 -19 inch trout and at least 25 others that didn't make the cut. And rains came again and I came home.

Nice job. Sounds like a crazy good time. I imagine the one grabbing the lure at the boat was fun and surprising.
