I thought it might be appropriate to congratulate the City of Corpus Christi and their contractor on the quality of finish Laguna Shores Road was completed with. This is said without any knowledge of how effective the drainage was addressed, or what the plans are for addressing the grass or weed areas along the roadside and especially between Laguna Shores and Martha where many customers of Bluff's Landing Marina park their trucks and boat trailers? The weed areas are not only unsightly, but attract mosquitoes, etc. Prior to the road's reconstruction and even during most of it we had a neighbor who volunteered his time and money to mow the area along Martha frequently, but unfortunately cancer took his life this year. Possibly the mowing is a responsibility Bluff's Landing should assume, or should the area be improved in a manor to eliminate parking, or better still the CoCC should mow it weekly?

It's holding up pretty good so far.
I've had about 4.5" at least back here in Whiteley Cove and it's still gently raining.
The Drainage and height look promising to me but let's wait till October before we start celebrating?

I drove past that little piece in front of Zias (maybe yours too I guess) and it's mowed now, but yeah that look like CC responsibility to me.
Everything growing like crazy down here now to catch up.

Our maintenance guy can barely get a mowing in before it pours again..

Not that I'm complaining Very Happy
