| we are hoping to come down some time in late july or early august. we usually fish at bob hall but since it is being rebuilt we thought it might be better to use the caldwell pier. galveston has the dirty water and high winds again. if you could tell me if pompano are biting this time of year. thank you. |

That's a goods ways out, but right now, it's WINDY and hot, with pretty dirty water out past the 3rd bar. Not exactly Pomp conditions. Hopefully by then, it will be better. Sorry for being a wet blanket.  |
