Past two days over lunch, Newport Pass area, the conditions scream 'Pomp Window'!!!!! Reality is more like 'Whiting Porthole'.........
Lots of folks out, but slow results, so far.

| Very few pompano being caught. Mostly small whiting in the catchers. However, there are a few black drum starting to come out of the surf. |
