Swellinfo.com is showing a FLAT surf from Tuesday afternoon to Thursday

Past two days over lunch, Newport Pass area, the conditions scream 'Pomp Window'!!!!! Reality is more like 'Whiting Porthole'......... Cool
Lots of folks out, but slow results, so far.

Very few pompano being caught. Mostly small whiting in the catchers. However, there are a few black drum starting to come out of the surf.

I've caught my share of pomps but am no expert ... I was thinking the water needs to warm up another 5-6 degrees yet Rolling Eyes
