I've got an old 215 Seafox with and electric jackplate.
The motor or piston has rusted out and I can't figure out who made it and where to get parts.
It's currently in the "stuck almost too high to get up on plane" position.
All I can read on it is "Power Hi-Jacker" on the sides of the plate and" Warner Electric" on the top of the motor/piston.
The Dealer Tex-All Boat and RV out of San Antonio is out of business...
I bought the boat back in 2011 from a retired SW pilot down on Baffin in pristine condition.
I've looked on Warner Electric's website and they don't mention selling or servicing anything like this/
Anyone have any ideas where to start on this one? _________________ Steve-O

Captin, you might consider contacting Bob's Machine Shop in Florida. They have been in the jack plate business for a long time, and they, especially Bob, might be able to give you some insight about the company and if anything remains of it. I met Bob at a Houston boat show probably 25 years ago at his display there. He's a very helpful person and I would imagine, if he is still active would help you. I have a Bob's jack plate and installed it myself, but know nothing about electric ones. You might be better off to just remove it for the time being, if you can't resource replacement parts.
I just got on Google and it looks like CMC has an electric JP, but Bob's may be able to tell you if someone bought the rights to your jack plate manufacture's design, etc. |

Thanks BayFly,
I'm at this point just trying to get it into the down position, I like the five or so inch setback it provides.
I think I've figured out it's probably a unit sold years ago by T-H Marine with components designed by Thomson Linear
Thomson Linear support is telling me there should be an Allen wrench emergency release in there somewhere I'm going to go look for tomorrow.. _________________ Steve-O

Oh and BayFly, I know about Bob and their quality products.
Just re-read your post and I may give them a call tomorrow.

Hi Jacker is going to be a TH Marine product. They are still in the business and could probably help you out.
