Hit Laguna this morning and took me a long time to find some fish. Finally got these two there were 18 and 20. Had a third one hooked it was at least as big as the biggest one but in trying to grab the net and fight the fish he flipped around and got off.

Nice!
Curious as to what you all think will happen after this front clears?
Obviously gonna blow the first day and muddy up the water _________________ Steve-O

I got one 22" red at B & R Flats south island cut. When I went to the cleaning station, two guys had six trout they had caught, plus one red. I told them I hadn't seen a trout in a month, and they said they hadn't either. I guess it was their day. TexasJim _________________ TexasJim

Just got in after trying for a couple hours in the backyard. Still whitcapping and water clarity is poor to non-existent. I did not venture around much, best water I found was tight to the mainland shoreline. Missed two good bites right at the boat, but did not catch anything save for a snagged pin perch.
The boat had not seen water since July 4 weekend, it needed a good splashing. Hoping these winds lay by tomorrow. |
